PSA in partnership with UNHCR, TASS and GECPD distributed NFIs to vulnerable families in Haadoole IDP site in Bosaso.
A total of 544 vulnerable families who are internally displaced because of the severe drought were selected and registered as beneficiaries, each family received a combination of Blanket, Kitchen-set, Plastic-sheet, Jerrycans and Mosquito nets. The categories of the beneficiaries were new arrivals displaced by drought, large families, SGBV survivors, vulnerable RAS students and single female-led households.
The objectives of the activity was to provide commodities necessary for life to displaced populations in a coordinated, fair and organized manner, while strengthening their coping mechanisms, and taking account of their specific needs, cultural values, the environment, and physical context
