Relief Program through CBT modalities

In 2019, PSA is implementing relief Program through CBT modalities to improve food security of the drought affected communities through food distribution interventions in Bossaso IDPs and surrounding villages.
The project’s beneficiaries are 2200 households (HH) majority being women, children, the elderly and the poorest of the poor families, living in Bossaso district of Puntland state – Somalia.

The intervention is a response that enables the target communities to meet their immediate and long-term food needs and nutrition requirements and transition them toward recovery especially at this summer time.
The project’s objective is to address food insecurity and reduce chronic hunger and malnutrition among the drought affected IDPs and communities in Bosaso.

In addition, protection, health/nutrition and sanitation aspects are some of the cross-cutting issues being synchronized with project’s activities, this is in order to enable the intervention to have a general positive effect and impact in all perspectives for the benefit of the beneficiaries
